Technically, I always think of triptychs as being some sort of altar piece, usually with Byzantine iconography, but I was striving for an alliteration, and that was the best I could do. Hey, it’s early!
These bracelets are not yet completed. They still need to have clasps attached. I haven’t yet decided if the clasp should be something simple, like a slide lock, or if I want to make them fancier, and use a swanky glass button as the closure. In the meantime, they sit calling my name; the siren song needing completion.
These bracelets are also made with Delicas like Red Hots, but instead of being three dimensional, they follow the flat triangle pattern I used in the Tangerine Tango bracelet. I replaced the drops at the triangle corners with lentils. I think the lentils work quite nicely – a twist from the usual drops and daggers.
Unlike Red Hots, these are made as components, one triangle at a time. Then all the little triangles are stitched together into a band. Thanks to some furry assistants, there are also a few extra pieces laying about. I am sure I will find them eventually.
Suzy, your are simply amazing!
