An image of a Redouté Rose under a very thick glass cabochon. The image itself is a composite; there’s poem, I think, in the script behind it.
The bezeling picks up the pinks and greens from the print, with some green crystals added at the edges. The back of the brooch has the pin set so that it attaches at an angle, just like in the photo. At least, that’s how I would attach it.
This pin definitely needs to find a home with someone who is an exemplary rosarian. A gardener extra-ordinaire.
