More placemats. This time with a traveling theme. Around the World in 180 courses?
I wonder, did the Romans have that many courses during their bacchanals?
Anyway, back to the fabrics. The center fabric on the pieced side reminds me of passport stamps. The backing is a very stylized map of the world. This particular pattern has become my go-to quilted placemat. They’re bright, cheery and colorful.
I won’t be keeping these. They’re going to be donated to the Quilted Raffle for Sew-In 2011. Some lucky person will have their ticket drawn and get to take these home. At least, I hope they think they’re lucky if they win them. Oh yeah, it’s a set of four, not just the two pictured.
